Now let me say this, until the former whois contact is asked it isnt confirmed but before someone spends 5 fgures I would rather warn now, I apologize if it is not but a few things made me go hhhmmm.
MARRIED.com
I receive an email from [email protected] offering married.com for sale, no name or contact just this is the name, make an offer Thanks.
I reply asking do you have more.
They reply first make an offer asking price is $20k and then I will tell you more, again no name or contact info besides email which has now changed to [email protected] .
I reply making an offer and ask what other names they have, they have not replied.
I also see it is now at afternic at $10k .
Now there are some red flags here, out of the blue email, no name, changing gmail accounts 3 times etc. Also when whois is checked it reveals the name changed info within the last 2 days from the original owner to the new owner BUT with yet ANOTHER gmail account [email protected] .
So now we have a recent transfer, no names, 3 different emails and my gut saying hhhmmm. Also he moved the name from Melbourne IT to Godaddy . Contacting the yahoo address of the former owner is pointless, the theif very well may have it to start with so calling is best.
