Above was the ad I saw on this forum back in february. I worked out a deal for 5 redesigns, 5 tpg sites, 10-15 banners on invoice:

I paid 50% deposit on Feb 11th via paypal, he is verified and have numerous transactions. Since then, I have not heard of this guy except for once, which was to tell me that he completed my 5 tpg sites and he can upload. After that, no news whatsoever. I see him on icq, but he never replies, I sent him numerous emails no reply, I messaged him on this board and I see that he logged on after i sent it and yet no reply. I am out $315 ordering from supposedly a reputable company on this forum.

Does anyone know this guy? also got burnt? willl the moderators step in and get involved since someone got ripped off by another one of its memebers who is actually running a business here. The guy even said he needed to charge me texas sales tax if i was located in texas which portrays that he does have a license etc in TX.

yeah it is strange, he posts a pdf for me to d.l and pay him, then deletes it.

He is a scammer as far as I know. He ripped off a couple of people on gfy selling a site to multiple people and never actually transferring it.

since he tries to collect sales tax for the state of texas, he must have a reseller's permit. Also if he is incorporated, It might be good for someone to look up the secretary of state and file a complaint. This will work if he actually registered his business since all his records are on file. IF he is using a bogus company name and never registered it, then it is a different story. Also he has to have a real bank account for his paypal and when i paid him, he was verified with numerous transactions. If everyone who got ripped off files a complaint with the state, and contact the board of equalization regarding his reseller's permit I think we can get this guy's attention.

Once the state and local gov. gets enough complaints, they will usually take some sort of action as they take fraud seriously. Not to mention everyone that gets ripped off that are NOT in texas, can actually file a complaint with the FBI as it is in their jurisdiction when it spans multiple states.
