If you're interested in a few of their domains just ask them for a special price, but it probably won't be that special, from my experience they may offer a discount of a few hundred only.
I don't think they do wholesale, especially as a lot of domains are only brokered by them.
Hi Stacman - We are contracted brokers with Buy Domains on over 320,000 domains - They usually hold their prices up and do not discount much. We have closed a number of deals with them that have been reduced. If we can ever help, please send me a PM and I will attempt to get you the best prices possible. Thanks Steve
Hi Sid - No sorry necessary - Yes we are still under contract with Buy Domains, just hard to get them to budge alot on the prices - Good to speak with you - Take Care - Steve
Not only does BD not lower the price much they also may not bother to reply when you ask for a price. Had non-response's happen several times.
It's amazing what with 300,000 plus names to move they would ignore sales inquiries but just like most internet based firms non-replies are very common unfortunately.
DCG - What they do is mark up their orginal price by 10% and then offer a comm.; I think - We have an api in feed with them and this is an old contracted program. Thus, what ever is the posted or quoted price on their site is what we start at and discount off that. No markup on our end. Try us for a REAL deal and we will beat it - Steve
This is funny. BD has been marking up their original prices by 50-150% on some names that I've been observing. Just gives me one reason more on why I should just go the new namespace route and invest on good development to bring in the traffic rather than silly priced domains that depend on the flavor of the month rather than sense.
