APlus.net - spamming via Whois

Just got a call from APlus.net telling me that they had found me in the Whois records as the owner for: JapaneseRides.com

They asked me if I needed anyone to design a site for that domain or if I needed hosting...

I wonder how many thousands of phone calls they are sending out this way...

I used to get these like twice a week 6 months ago. I don't seem to get 'em anymore.

Who doesn't whois spam these days? :bandit:

they called me as well at 11 PM my local time (after sending 2 emails last month).
And i live in Athens.
They are using the internet for the calls (at least thats what it sounded like), so cost isnt a problem.

also, i got a call from Japan!!! by a stock broker asking me If i am interested in investing in japanese stocks because i own a stock related domain. at least they called in the afternoon

I get calls from aplus also. I used to get more so I think maybe they slowed down their calling for a bit but now it seems to be picking up again. Maybe they do mass calls, get some work and then when it gets slow they pound the phones again?
