It was a valiant effort on the part of my programmers, to design, develop and test a live auction system in 7 straight days. Unfortunately 7 days wasn't enough.

The next auction is scheduled for Saturday January 25th at 7:00PM CST. All those that listed their names for tonight's auction will have until then to remove their name(s) from the auction. No additional names can be added until after the next auction. Tomorrow you will be able to delete here http://dnforum.com/auctionsignup.php

For those of you that complained about the auction tonight, I'm refunding 1,000% of what you paid.

Quick questions regarding Saturday (1/25) night's auction:

* Do you need to be present? (Assuming "No", because that was the case for this evening's).
* Can we resubmit at the Starting bids that would have been for this evening's ... (ie., NOT required $1.00)?

Thanks and honorable attempt tonight! Good Luck for Saturday. :)
PS. I'll pay you double $$ per month as a membership fee! ;)

Gregr is always fair!

I don't think that is fair. You have to consider how much time and effort I spent trying to log in. If he does not raise that to at least 1500% of what I paid there is going to be trouble.

Duke since you brought this to my attention, you get 2,000%. :)

Greg,

Being one of a few "europeans" present at yesterday auction I can tell you that I went to bed at 4:00 in the morning. And I woke up at 7h30 today. But I'm not complaining. I'm thanking you for all the efforts your programmers and you have put in developing the live auction site. I'm sure next saturday the auction will be a huge success and soon every domain owner will want to participate in it. Shame on the people that yesterday were joking with the auction. Everytime a valid project is developed and presented there are the jealous ones who try to put it down just because they are loosers and are afraid of making the move to create something usefull.
So once again thank you Greg for your fantastic effort.
See you next Saturday (by the way, thank you for having considerer moving it to a proper day for us the europeans).
Regards,
msps
