Auction Stats - 02-01-2003

Did some quick auction stats based on the three fantastic auctions so far.

The results are kinda interesting and may help folks set starting bids for their domains, as well as influence future investment in specific tlds.

The stats are attached as an html file for those that are Excel impaired.

I plan to update weekly. (Updated 2-4-2003)

if you delete the 2 high and 2 low sales... you will be closer to the mean selling price. It will lop off quite a bit from that average selling price. I tried with just dropping the high sell price and it can cut $10 or more off the average.

it would make a more accurate selling price of names.
