This is whats called a "Joe Job". Slamming somebodies business or name through unsolicted email/spam. I see this happen alot with webhosting companies.

This makes me wonder if Dales email is only shown in the email he received?

Looks like a backlash from a domain that was on my clients' drop list today and the stupid goof that's baiting me was the loser of the domain. ALWAYS CALL in case of doubt and I will explain in literal terms: +44 77959 73254.
