Offers Banner Exchange - 1,000 uniques a day!

I have a developed banner exchange http://www.verticalsites.net which I no longer have the strength to run. I dont want to waste anyones time so here are the stats:

The site runs on the script called WebAdverts. It has around 25 members, a few of which are very very large sites. I am looking high xxx to low x,xxx range for this site, you will get domain/banner exchange/users/everything you see! The past owner made $300 off of this site, and you can make more!! I have made some $ off of it from selling click thrus and impressions, but not really enough to brag about. I'm open to pm offers or any questions, but please only if you are intrested.

1000 uniques 10 MB bandwith
is only 10KB per unique, that's the banner you are serving, not visitors. Your home page is about 100KB so 1000 visits should be about 100MB per day, some days you're only serving 5MB.

If you check the hits to the index file thats the real visitor traffic.

this is not for banner impressions, banner impressions are in the 4,000 each day. (Might be able to do screen shot of that as well in a bit). Yes, site is for sale. Cant sell for $150 but thanks for the offer.

it makes a request for the file ads.pl then it displays the banner and the small vertical sites logo on the page, that's 3 file requests per banner impression.

according to your stats, church-webs makes 13,000 file requests in the month and that's 10% of the link traffic. that's makes 13,000/3 = 4,500 banners per month, about 150 banners per day. since that's 10% of your banner traffic, that makes about 1,500 banner impressions a day for your site, about what your daily stats shows for visits. there could even be 4 or 5 files per banner request making this lower.

you can put up a counter or look at the number of requests for your index file to view your home page traffic. with 1,000 uniques a day you would be getting 20 signups a day or more.

Hey Gray, you have a good point but I still see a missing link. Why would my stats not be in the 4,000? Thats the average day of banner displays. Trying to follow at the same time.

On your Feb stats, pages should be the requests for ads.pl (serving the banner) and hits should be for the files ads.pl and the banner logo. Averages are about 3,000 and 5,000. That's about 2,000 banners downloaded per day. Uniques should be less than this.

The banner logo is 2kb, ads.pl should be another 1kb. You're only serving 150mb a month so thats where most of your traffic is from.
150,000kb / 3kb = 50,000 banners per month
1,600 banners per day going by bandwidth.

If the 3,000 pages a day were your site pages the bandwidth would be well over 5mb a day! You're serving a tonne of very small files - ads.pl and banner_bottom.gif are my guess.

sounds fair, but why do they not match? The banner impressions? Between the two stats what you are saying isnt possible.

the 1st stats is about 6,000 hits a day, the second stats shows church-webs has 18,000 hits and that's 10% of the total. Both agree to 180,000 hits a month. About 3,500 of these are for ads.pl, that's pages, uniques is 1/3 of the pages, i.e. on average a visitor will see 3 banners in the same day.

The bandwidth is mostly going to banner_bottom.gif about 2,500 actually get served of the 3,500 requests, that makes up the 150MB per month. No room for 1,000 visits a day of a 100KB home page! That would take 100MB per DAY, or 3 GIG.
