I was using HostGator for my sites. I only had perhaps twenty sites with them. Virtual hosting was fine for me, so I thought.

Last night I received an email notice regarding I had exceedeing the iNodules limit. I had no idea what that is. Has something to do with files.

Anyways, the limit was 50,000. Seems I was a tad over with almost 300,000.
 Picky, picky.

I don't know what any of that means other than the fact that Joomla sites are apparently file hogs and they were telling me I needed to upgrade to a dedicated host. Seems it would be cheaper to have multiple shared hosting.

At any rate, I figure those of you that are using Joomla to build sites can direct me to a Joomla friendly host that take these large files into account.

And not being the tech head or geek that many on this forum profess to be, please keep the lingo dummied down for me.

I use dreamhost.com (there are many coupons to get huge discounts, since members can create coupon codes) and they actual have their own control panel with 1-click installs of joomla. I haven't used joomla in a while...in fact, last time I set it up was when I was thinking about starting http://www.telephonemenus.com/ but the setup was really quick, and I'm pretty sure they offer one click updates too.
