I cannot believe I fall for this one... I actually worry and click on the link to sign up with my password. I later inspect the URL and learn that the link in the page is pointing to config7sf23.ws and ATDMT.COM.

Be very very careful... the url is:

http://login.live.com.uilogin.srf7id-45930.config7sf23.ws

So the domain is config7sf23.ws and not live.com.

I changed my password already, but I really feel stupid that I fall for it.

wow! thats a shocker! Thank you for warning us. Im sorry to hear that you were taken advantage of. Have you thought about contacting hotmail directly and assuring them that it is your email by telling them your password? And if you forgot your password (since it was changed) that you can update your password by using your "secret question"? they may have already changed your "secret question" but its worth a shot. they may have not thought about changing your "secret question".

"secret question" meaning the question they ask you in case you forget your password like:

1. what is your mother's maiden name?
2. What is your first pet's name?
3. etc.

Looks like a domain hijacking in the making to me.

One quick advice... always check the URL before the slash to validate the website.

im refering to the current email account that was stolen from you. You may have a chance in getting the email account back and change the password by entering your "secret question" answer.

Wow... good thing I detected this early. I just spotted that the hacker is trying to get in my paypal account. In my trash can folder, there is a paypal forgotten password email with a link to rest the password. That email was opened... Fortunately they don't know my bank number to reset the password...

I am not sure if my domains are safe. I did reset my password immediately, but seems like they can still access my hotmail. I am not sure if there is any way to force them to close the session. I am closely monitoring my email the whole night... but I know this is not just the beginning...

Any suggestion what I can do to protect my domains? Thanks.

imho, also look out for Domain sales links from Forums (including DNF) for SEDO, eBAY etc. :yes:

for security, go through with typing in the URL and searching yourself :yes:... this may be a pain but saves you from any possible risks :smilewinkgrin:
