If you wanted to sell one and keep one, what would you do with BFFR.si and Aight.si?

BFFR is an extremely popular acronym, it's used thousands of times every day online and off.

Aight is a popular modern dictionary word that is used a lot every day. It starts with "Ai" and goes quite well with "Si" at the end. Like "Si" it has a positive meaning too.

I'd sell BFFR and hold Aight.

Both are short and memorable, so the real difference is who pays and how long the name stays useful. BFFR lives on a slang cycle. It is brilliant while it is hot, but the buyer pool is mostly social pages, merch and meme brands, and the value fades with the trend. Aight is a word people actually say, and the Ai opening gives it a modern feel, so it can sit on an app, a studio or an agency that wants a short brandable name. A word that works as a brand outlives an acronym that works as a joke.

The catch is that both sit on .si, so buyers lean Slovenian or domain hackers rather than a global pool. I price ccTLD names off real sales in that extension and never off .com comps, and I track renewal dates outside the registrar account so holding cost is visible before I decide.

Keep the one you would actually develop. It is easier to sell from that position.

Thanks.

I think BFFR might remain popular for years to come, it certainly gets a lot of usage nowadays. With that said I think you're right about Aight, it could work as a brand more than BFFR.

I don't think people think Slovenia or domain hackers when they see "SI", I believe most think "Super Intelligence" especially after Trump declared SI stood for that and that "Artificial Intelligence" (AI) was no longer the correct terminology.
