Simply b/c I can not place bids at godaddy and 4domains in addition to the fact that people do not believe in .biz I thought I would publish a compliation of results from today's drops. The bid prices are based on prices before the auction which were at another site which didn't catch any today unfortunately. They recently changed to a post auction like pool but looks like they will go home empty handed today therefore I will not promote them.

Anyone knows why 4DOMAINS are so successful?

Very interesting point indeed. Wouldn't be that hard to run the system if you had the right software and a few other advantages. Galcomm seems to be letting 4Domains use their connections somehow to get domains and then selling them off for the auction amounts. Not sure yet but there is some information coming in that they got 29 of those names. It would make sense for services to pool their connections in order to grab more domains otherwise they would spend a lot of wasted resources going for names that were already caught. Godaddy has about 3 connections. Pool has about two i think.

I've only booked one domain at 4domains..$60 is a bit much for a .biz, but it's one domain I'd be willing to put out the cash for.

GOLF.BIZ & NEWS.BIZ both $3K+ pre-bid names on galcomm went to GoDaddy backorders.....you win some and loose some I guess. Also Playboy.biz dropped today which went to a german drop catcher.
