Blog - Blogging trend?

What is your opinion about Blog domains? Do you think it is still attractive to people? free-blog .com was sold yesterday at Sedo for $760 which is not a great priceIMHO. It looks like France is one Blogging country, what about the U.S, Germany, Japan or Argentina, etc...?

Unless its very generic.. blog.com blogs.com freeblogs.com etc. even carblog.com then id probably buy it. The market as i see it is either someone wanting to provide a service, or someone looking to blog. So either someone is going to pay $100,000 like blogster.com or w/e it was, or your going to have joe schmo wanting to spend $10.
