I would like to suggest a .ca moderator for all the threads related to the .ca marketplace. While forum rules are spread evenly accross the board regardless of the extension, I feel that the .ca marketplace is a unique one and I would like to see a Canadian moderate our thread.

I think this is a wonderful idea. While i'm not on this site 24/7, I sink quite a bit of it on here, specifically for .CA. I would love to see one or two people appointed. My main "want" would be someone with a specific focus and understanding of the evolving .ca climate. I've been following .CA here for 4+ years (wow, that went fast) in various capacities, and would love to see the appointment of someone that deeply cares about the suffix put into place.

I'll throw my name in the hat as well, although moderating a domain forum is much different than managing a software group, i'm sure. As long as the majority is comfortable with the decision. I'll trust my fellow Canadian's judgment on this one : )

Regards

Thanks Jay. Looks like we have 3 people so far interested in moderating the .ca section; Hope, Irish and me.

Maybe with should have a "Truly Canadian" test

ie:
1. Favorite Coffee
2. National sport
3. who is the current Canadian president (trick question)
4. name of the $2 dollar coin
5. what is the correct spelling of (colour or color)
6. etc.

just to make sure :))

Congrats Wallace - looks like you're our first .ca moderator. Merveilleux! Who knows, perhaps the .ca community will grow enough to moderate a second mod!
