can you expalin what godaddy is doing here

you know how when you go to check on a name at godaddy, they now have this "option" to buy these overpriced "premium" names?

i was checking on several names and just could not believe the prices they were asking- most had little google results and nada overture, and ALL the tlds were avail! yes they are asking insane prices for these names!

so i looked up 3 random names- coffeelogos.com, bunsteamer.com and candyfrogs.com- all nearly a grand- and all the who is info is the same:

and coffeelogos was the same as these- if you go to the pages, they are fabulous pages- now..... why are fabulous names showing up on godaddy pages for sale like this- why didnt godaddy just hoard names and sell them for crazy prices? and who is this company?
