Catching dropping names tips

Hi guys when attempting to cach dropping through godaddy many times if the domain is captured by another domain register your godaddy backorder will recommend that you wait 5 days just in case the domain is getting tasted by the new register. It has happened to me were i have wait a few days and after the domain was captured by a different register and when it was released a few days later i caught it .
Can any one tell me can you find out just by looking at the parking DNS of the new register if the domain might be getting tasted for example ns1.interimnameserver.com ?.
And what ones the parked page normally look like , example is their any that look like they are parked with google .
Also how many days does the tasting normally last for thanks guys .
The whois looks like this .

With the ICANN rule change domain tasting has dropped dramatically. However one tip is not to visit the domain (the tasters will count it as traffic).

I'll agree with BidNo, do not go to the domain.

Even though the rules have changed - some people still taste and the only way to see is to check the WhoIs. I've had a couple go this way recently.

The nice thing is that sometimes you can get it for reg fee a week later - especially if it is not a popular domain.

Interesting point I had not considered. But yes, if the taster has their own register (most do), logging whois lookups is a piece of cake. Best follow Dragger advice and leave the domain untouched for requisite five days.

interimnameserver.com is snapnames.com, and its not tasting, someone has backordered it.

for tasting they used ns1.oregonnames.com or something like that
