Chat keeps crashing on me?

Every time I join the chat it stalls and then my browser crashes?

I am on a mac, I have tried all of these browsers to no avail. Any answers?
- Internet Explorer 5.5
- Safari
- Mozilla Fire Bird
- Netscape 6.0
