Telegram’s .gram application is interesting because the distribution model may matter more than the string itself. If a Telegram username can become a second-level domain and a hosted site, the registration journey could happen almost entirely inside the platform.

Would you personally register a .gram if it became available? And from an industry angle, do platform-distributed domains have a better chance of real usage than conventional new-gTLD launches?

For me, open DNS, independent transfers and clear renewal rules would be the dividing line between a real domain asset and a platform feature.
