Hello domain gurus ......
Im very new in trading domain name. After failing to reg quality domain name, i think that i should ask some advice from you ppl :)

I keep on wondering what determines the value of a domain. As i know a good domain should be:
1) short - easy to memorize
2) Contain a meaning by itself
3) Contain a keyword if possible
4) Has a market value.

Do i miss out anything?

Thanks

Yup, it always helps

Registering good quality names straight out is hard these days. Most people try and register typos and unregistered traffic domains instead.

I recently just bought a domain which has a searrch term for 8000+
exact keyphrase. But it doesnt seems to be valuable according to some ppl.
I found that domain trading is very confusing. Better off to deal with programming ...LOL

Contrary to popular .COM belief, new namespace may be able to get you better overall ROI in the coming years.

I suggest you start reading as many threads on the site as you can. Just get a sense for what is going on and what people are doing/selling/buying

I had read a lot. But still wont help. For example i saw ppl are seeking for a domain that has high overture keywords. Recently i bought a domain that has 8000+ exact keyphrase but worth nothing.
Very confusing.. may be i should just sell my bunch of domain name and join DNF domain partnership that are currently on discussion :)
