My favorite is when a domain drops that they *forgot* to renew and I get it, they contact me and call me a *cybersquatting*. Needless to say, my desire to help them recover their domain flatlines at that point...costing them much more in *recovery fees*.
I use to try to work with some of these people. However, they figure it is
worth it to me to make $ 20 over my cost.
Just two weeks ago, I picked up a 4 letter domain. Apparently, a club owned it before.
They made a big deal that someone at the club left. And, the club never changed
the authorized email address.
They called a number of times about it. I was willing to sell it to them for $ 200.
They called me a number of nasty names because they thought I was
robbing them. :bandit:
Then, they told me I was breaking the law. etc, etc.
That is why I avoid offering to sell the name back to the former owner after
they contact me. I just tell them that it is not for sale
I don't need the grief.
