O.K i see a lot of domains in auction selling for the minimum on one auction then being shifted across to another auction for a ridiculous price.......oh and i see domains in snapnames been bought for the minimum then being resold on snapnames for thousands........

Does this work ? as i have not seen many sales but then again i don't really track them.

As nobody has answered i guess it's one of the dark secrets the welathy domainers are making there money ;-)

Yes, it does work. I run DnSalePrice.com and frequently note auction buys resold elsewhere at much higher values.
