Does anybody knows how much it costs to get advise from a Domain Name lawyer?

Once a while I get threats from people, that just wants to sue my ass because this or that domain. Sometimes I think is just a reverse hijacking try, but I don´t know, can you guys recommend some good (not so expensive) consultants?

PS: Yup, my english sucks :)

I do know some attorneys but the dont like me much, maybe you can offer them a deal with a domain name instead of cash.

Offer to swap, USLAWATTORNEY.COM for the advice it's cheaper.

Unless you really need one, and you will know by then, stay away from them.

They cost too much.

The name is Eric Pelton. His hourly rate is $180 and $500 retainer is required to begin.
Nobody said, it was gonna be cheap

I've heard of rates around $250 p/h for lawyers specializing in domain disputes.

yeah, domain disputes can be pretty costly. Plus, it's hard to find a really good lawyer specialising in domain names.

I guess Ari Goldberger's rates are even higher. But he's got a good success rate though.

Look up a guy named David Steele. His typical clients are TM holders, but he is a really good. He is probably expensive though.

Remember, if it is just a UDRP claim, a lawyer is not necessarily needed. You might have just as much luck doing it yourself.

ExpressLawyer.com :)

Sometimes I just forget what names I have. Must be old age creeping up. hehe

Come on - lets start our own Domain Law Academy!!!
We could create our own Domain Law Certification and charge £5,000 a day.
It'd certainly get a lot of press coverage!
