A little update from our side = after quite a lot of back-and-forth (and plenty of negotiations
), we have now signed the venue contract for Domain Summit Africa 2027.
We will meet at Diani Reef Beach Resort & Spa, Diani Beach, Kenya, on 18–19 January 2027.
One thing I'm particularly happy about is that we've secured both Shark Halls.
Shark Hall 1 will be entirely focused on the conference programme: keynotes, presentations, discussions and panels.
Shark Hall 2 gives us a separate space for sponsors, exhibitors, networking and business meetings. That should make a big difference compared with trying to squeeze the conference, exhibition and networking into one room.
We're planning a strong 2027 programme around Domains + AI, particularly LLMs, AI agents and what these technologies mean for registries, registrars, investors, hosting companies and the wider domain ecosystem.
@FelistusMuli has also managed to negotiate special delegate accommodation rates at Diani Reef, so attendees who want the full resort/conference experience can stay right at the venue. Great job, Felistus!!
And, well… Diani in January isn't exactly the worst place to start the new business year.
