Is there any escrow site offering this service? If anyone has experience in a swap of domains without money involved in the operation (excluding the fees) please, post here how you did it. Thanks.

Hi Site.
you could do it by making a post on this forum in the domains for sale section?

Thanks seeker. I just thought it would be a little out offtopic there.

its actually a good idea.
I was thinking about it,
especially for people in niche markets.
I might have soemthing you like in your niche area and vice versa.

Lets do it!

I agree with the sentiment and applaud your co-operative attitude however...a funny thing happens with people and their domain names that will make sure this venture does not succeed. People almost always overvalue their own domain names and undervalue everyone elses. It is totally strange and makes no sense whatsoever but I can't count how many times I have attempted to negotiate the purchase of a domain name, have the seller vigorously defend his ridiculous selling price only to flatly refuse to purchase an almost identical name from me for half of his asking price.

Although the concept is good, it will never work because of unrealistic expectations from unexperienced domain owners.
