domaining from a hospital bed

Just thought I would let you all know that if I am late to reply to emails or pms about a sales its because I have limited amount of time on the pc.

I was flown from my home town to the Wesley Medical Center which is 3 hours away in Wichita. I have been having contractions for almost two weeks now but these decided to show progress and being only 32 wks its not really safe. I dilated to 2 from being completely closed in less than an hour. So I am getting mag sulfate which is disgusting and makes me feel awful. Being stuck in the bed once they take me off the mag tomorrow I should be able to reply a bit faster and not feel so groggy.

The biggest thing they were worried about is her lungs so they gave me the first shot yesterday and the second one today so that is a plus. Contractions have slowed down so the big test will be how they do once I come off the meds.

Yes because I have dilated to 3. I am only 32 wks so they give the shots as a prevention measure in case the baby does come. I will be taken off of mag tomorrow since both shots have been given and they will watch to see if the contractions come back. I was sent here because my hospital at home isn't equipped to take care of babies born before 34wks.

Good vibes flying your way from Ireland, where we are ahead of the rest of Europe in the baby stakes. Mine were always late, and the two who were almost a month late are still completely unpunctual. So you may have a real go-getter there, eager to make her mark on the world.

thanks everyone for the sweet posts and pms. I have had preemies but never this early. Kind of nerve racking. I hope she makes it to at least 34 - 35wks so I can deliver at my own hospital
