Domaining gone CRAZY!!!

I must say though - and I search often - I have yet to see one of those L-L-L.com's in the search results. Maybe just luck, maybe something else?

Either they're there & you aint seen them or like Doc says below, Europe & Asia are not showing up as they should in your results.

Two examples for you.
If i search 'Recycling' on Google.COM
In the UK, the top result is a site that is a 2 word hyphenated .org.uk !!!!
Yep :smilewinkgrin: You read right. Enough to put domainers out of a job full stop. Domains help, it's all about the development & seo. Great sites do great

Second example.
Put Sierra Leone into Google.com

Top result front page, Sierra-Leone.org
Interests me cos i own the com & should be developing it as we talk.
Sites average too, maybe quite old with forum, no real competition either though.
Lots of factors.
The real top firms will already own the LLL or have a top ranking site & name or brand.

I could go on forever..

These type of domains really appeal to small startups who want to spend $xxx mid/high up to medium sized business spending maybe $xxxx low-mid
Maybe more in future

Will only increase the price of the pure LLL cream etc imo
Good letters i hasten to add or wanted
I'm still constantly amused by domainers buying zqx.com for $6k
Okay in some far flung land one bad letter may be not bad.
z in Germany etc
A combination like zqx surely will never sell to anyone but a domainer/collector?

Maybe Quality L-L-L.com is the best punt of your life at $6.95

So it goes that it may be a geo related search. That would make sense if your results are greatly different in the UK or even in the EU, even when using the same search engine.

This is an area out of my expertise.

I started this thread just based on some simple scan results. I was amazed that domains avail and what appeared to be numerous a few months back are either going or gone.

The cvcv.net was the shocker. Did not have time to do a scan on the L-L-L availability but I just might.

Someone else mentioned LLLLL.com which is good also. But scan would take days as we're talking 11,881,376 combinations. So I think I'll let someone else tackle that.

Plus, at the rate that names seem to be getting regged, the list is old and outdated when it is done running.

for advanced searches you need a programme/script
people can help you with that sort of stuff for free, on here.
in it's simplest sense though, if you got a list of under 500, cut & paste 'em into Monikers bulk search & press 'go' :smilewinkgrin:
