Please scrap the budget sub-forums or reduce them drastically, perhaps

Less than $1000
$1000 > $9999
$10000+

I was just about to post a new thread but gave up in the end because I don't have a budget as such, it just depends on the names offered.

Thanks,
Rob

Hi Rob,

The thing is, people use each one very well. Check out the current stats for threads and posts in each, respectively:

$1-$100 Budget (2 Viewing)
279 1,804

$101-$500 Budget (2 Viewing)
411 3,789

$501-$1,000 Budget (4 Viewing)
115 1,033

$1,001-$2,500 Budget (1 Viewing)
81 387

$2,501-$5,000 Budget (1 Viewing)
50 293

$5,000-$9,999 Budget (3 Viewing)
50 233

$10,000 and Higher Budget (1 Viewing)
192 1,536

If the numbers were skewed in one direction or another, I could see the need. Lets talk about this some more though, its a good topic. Thoughts?

Check out the attached image of some threads just posted by Pharaoh.. simple way for the best exposure would be to post in each.
If the feedback becomes overwhelming about this, we could certainly change things though.

with all the different sections in "Help Wanted' it makes it harder to moderate and many old posts keep getting bumped with no replies from the OP.

imo...

7 days with no post by OP and thread should be deleted....(not closed)....
I know when I am really looking for a name...I always pay very close attention to the thread....so many are just fishing trips..imo:)

..if that is any help..

I agree with that one, delete it after seven days with no response from OP. If they are really looking for a name they can repost. That should keep things cleaner. Virtual rudeness is a waste of everyone's time.

agree too- they should be removed- that will keep things much cleaner

All good feedback, thanks.

Good point Jay

fishing is a part of many threads, you can tell if their TR doesn't change.

I agree about the fishing in the "domains / sites wanted" forums. I'm a bit unkeen on the multiple priced forums ... but... especially tired of people saying they're looking at buying... when they are .. not!

Rob

I hate the sub forums in the wanted section.
It would be far better, if budget is known, to post
in thread title: Budget up to ....: _______ names
and have it all in the same thread.
