Earthquake

Big earthquake here in southern California, 5 minutes ago.

USGS has it at a 5.8 just outside of LA.

Hopefully everyone is OK. Nothing huge for that area but can still cause a bit of damage.

Edit: I have a friend right at the epicenter, Chino area. I can't get a hold of her, phones are down.

Edit#2 - I was informed that she moved to Washington about a month ago and didn't change her number.. so she's OK.

No reports of damage at this time, though.

Your right, it was centered in Chino at 5.8....My Internet connection went down a minute after I made this thread, and I just got it back up now.

It felt pretty strong here in OC... Strong enough that it threw a lot of water out of our reef aquarium and pool.

Yeah....I was in the garage when it occurred, North San Diego. Looking up at the ceiling I saw the roof frame for a moment look like wiggle spaghetti, but standing on the floor of the garage I didn't feel anything.

It was just a flash of wavy gravy roof frame, and the after moment of the bottle of water on a table settling.
