one after the other, it feels like CA is going to be hit soon with a big one. They had the grounds shaken couple weeks ago too... hope their is not big one, but the CA people expecting one sooner or later.

I'm in Bakersfield right now and didn't feel a thing.

This was BIG, a 7.2 located 120 miles from me. It was felt as far away as SEATTLE, 1,000 miles away.

It's not getting much news coverage because most reporters are n vacation.

We've had 25 quakes above 3.0 in the last couple of hours. It's been crazy. Cellphone networks are swamped, but no real damage I've seen.

any Tsunamis? this maybe signs of bigger things to come

These quakes are all along the San Andreas Fault - all on land, not under the ocean, so zero chance of a tsunami. A lot of swimming pools had a lot of water shloshed out though.

Thankfully there relatively few casualties (both in Mexico & the US) thus far given the magnitude. I agree that it seems like the big one on the Pacific Coast is inevitable... then again, what do we really know about mother nature?

Hope everyone on the board who lives in the vicinity of the quake is OK.

Rob

It's April and we've already seen a lot of 7.0+ earthquakes.

The shake maps look like the quake traveled about 60-70 miles up the fault line.

hope this doesn't ever happen but....

anyone remember the Superman flick, when Lex Luthor was trying to make Nevada ocean front property?

planet Earth is shaking things up!

stay safe :)
