I have a few names on auction at eBay and both have the same high bidder.

The high bidder is new as off February 25 (yesterday) and has Zero feedback.

Their email address is [email protected] (xxxxxx not real address but land.ru is)

Have sent email to them asking for verification and am thinking about cancelling their bids.....

One add says
"We reserve the right to cancel any bid which does not appear to be legitimate"
"If you have Zero (0) Feedbacks, Negative Feedback or Feedback lower than 5, please contact us before bidding or your bid may be cancelled"

Any thoughts or suggestions how to approach this?

You have the right to cancel a bid if you want to.

Why not see if they pay.. I started bidding at 0. :) First thing I bought was close to $500. But I can understand if they are ignoring you.

Another problem is that any other potential bidder can see the same info and may look at your auction as suspicious.

If land.ru don't answer you within 24 hours, you might want to punt them.

Will give it until tomorrow morning to see if they reply.

Appreciate your suggestions everyone :)

Update:

Cancelled the bid and cancelled another .ru bid (they registered Feb 26th on eBay) after no reply to communication attempts.

Russian domain... they'd probably want to pay in Rubles anyway. :)

Good idea to drop them. They are just playing games. Anyone serious would have at least replied. Be sure to put them on your blocked bidder list. I have a few .ru in mine.
