Anybody know if there is a way to look back on old auctions at ebay?. For example, it would be nice to see what domains have sold on eBay.

The advanced search feature allows you to search through completed auctions, but only recent ones.

Years back I used to keep notes on what sold through eBay but stoped through time constaints.

It'd be good to write a script that archived the details of all auctions that ended in a sale, but it'd still be full of crap names sold for a pittance.

Plus, there'd be fake auctions, where a 'sale' was recorded, but the buyer or seller didn't follow through....

you can get a 30 day history but thats about it really. Just check your invoices with auction numbers and type that into the searxh field. Not sure how far ebay keeps records, but i doubt its more than a few months due to the number of auctions they do.

You can make it a business, by keeping the records and sell to domain resellers.
