Yes. I decided not to go with eDirectory for now, because my understanding is that along with a very high initial price, they nickel and dime you for the simple changes that should be covered in a content management system for the very very high price you have to pay.

Additionally, It is my understanding that out of the box directory scripts are eventually going to be excluded by google.

That sucks. Not to mention directory owners usually doesn't gain rev to cover the cost.

Well the good thing is one of the Managers is addressing my concerns and is going to ring me from America, I am in Australia, so it should be interesting what he has to say, hopefully something positive. I'll keep interested people uptodate.

 everyone!

I have been thinking for some time now about launching DJ goods and services related directory, using eDirectory software.
It is the first time that I have come acrcoss an understanding that "out of the box directory scripts are eventually going to be excluded by google" :noidea: - do you still think that now Onward?

Thanks in advance if you could share your recent thoughts/experience! :gossip:

Well, Edirectory seems to be more than just a directory now as they have integrated articles, reviews, and other functions - but I'm not sure that it is worth the price...I do think it has a killer system for the advertiser user though.

Thanks Onward, and I fully agree about advertisers' system of managing their accounts
