I noticed today that some of my names using Enom's DNS/URL framing service have been blacklisted by SORBS.NET and SPAMHAUS. Those names were never used for email so I suspect Enom's IP are being targeted.

Anyone knows what is possibly happening?

I wouldnt be surprised.
Thats because name-services (one of ENom's main dns servers) are sedining out daily thousands and thousands of WDRP compliance notices as they are required by ICANN.
The problem is, if you own many domains, you get VERY large lists, so I assume some people placed those on 'JUNK' which was then forwarded to the anti spam services, which then followed the cycle...

Those people that run those spam boards can be very nice to deal with or a horror.
I'm sure enom has had it up to here, though.
Imagine many of them first bought their domains at enom to begin with.
A classic chicken and egg scenario.

yes, I agree.
I have them auto setup by filter to go to a different folder.
But I am sure, many just 'junk' them, since they are sure there data is up to date.
That's when the problems start...
In fact, in thunderbird, I had to intervene to 'unjunk' name-services email because it considered them as junk because of its database updated mostly by users.

Yeah, it appears to be an eNom IP thing

I can see the blacklist in my whois.sc whois

IP Address: 216.52.184.240 (ARIN & RIPE IP search)
IP Location: - Washington - Redmond - Enom
Blacklist Status: Listed - Cached Today (details)

Its very sad to see my precious .COM tainted this way :(

Actually a few .COMs ... but it doesn't affect most of my other names, which is strange. I'm getting paranoid, maybe someone joe jobbed my domains.

With so many domains on their nameservers and people like Spamhaus "trigger happy" it's no surprise.

AOL's horrible procedures and policies do not help.

This is just my opinion.
