I've transferred an .info name away from eNom to another registrar, oh about 10 days ago... and today, during my routine 'walkthru" check of my eNom account I'm finding that the name is still listed there?

Of course it is also in my other registrar. Two places at the same time. Pure magic.

Interesting...

I mean, is this "normal" (maybe for the first 60 days after the transfer) or should I talk 2 them?

I've had that happen when I moved a domain from namescout. I wonder if my domain is "still" there...hmm, I'll have to check that. lol

Glitches are constant with eNom. I'd talk to them about it.

It's common with lots of registrars. I've had it happen at namescout (the worst at this), enom, registerfly, and serveral others. It seems like such a simple thing, but is so annoying.

It gets worse when you get renewal notices from two different registrars and have to check the whois record to see which one to really pay. Even more annoying when you just renewed at one and the other starts sending drop notices.

I have 2 domains in Dotster that i already transferred away 6 months ago.
Now it keeps on sending me renewal email. ::annoying::

Yes, this seems to be a policy of their's. It's very confusing. And time wasting to see if you did or didn't successfully transfer the names away.

You can click on the link in their renewal e-mails asking not to be informed anymore about that particular domain namel. I do this now when I remember and it reduces the annoyance level a bit.

I have them at eNom, nameCheap and regFly.

No problems..

Sometimes the registrar's database and the registry database get out of sync. Let the registrar know and they will remove the domain from their database.

Yep.. this has happened to me @ registerfly & Dotster!

I thought it was just a scam to get you to renew the domain at their registrar and thus transfer back. I do not know of any registrar so far that hasn't kept emailing me about a name I long transferred away. It's quite annoying.
