The pictures were funny for a while - now they are annoying and using extra bandwith that could be put to better use.

Surely vBulletin has a disable feature for the pics.

First off, once you visit they get cached. Second, the large ones that mike complained about were meant as a short lived joke. Life with WebTV must suck; everything is at 640x480

Yes, also, the bandwidth being consumed is not from here, but from the image hosting site.

The only problem with TC's siggy is that it is vertical long banner ad, that kinda sucks since it forces you to scroll down a lot more before you see the next message.

It also makes my girl think I am surfing porn, now that is the ultimate suck.

27 inch color TV as my monitor. Wireless keyboard works up to like 12 feet away if I want to type something. If not, I use the Remote control to surf the net just like a TV remote control. The only thing that sucks about webtv is that it doesn't have any processing power or cache memory to speak of. Other than that, It is a great browser for surfing the net.

As far as sig sizes go. I agree with simone. They should be limited to like the 1 inch "button banner" ad size.

And Timechange, why wouldn't you use your allocated sig space here to link to the page that details your many real accomplishments as a webmaster? I've seen that site. I think you call it your 'resume' page or something. It's quite impressive. I'd bet you'd get a good job or two or three from members or lurkers here if your sig was a button link to that page instead of big pics of half naked chicks. JMO.
