EscrowDNS.com being used in "potential purchase" emails

I won't release the buyer's name but I can say that my team at EscrowDNS went with him so its still being ran by the same people on a day to day operation. If they want their personal name released, they can post that themselves.

I see, ok thanks. Curious why he'd remain private though, I mean it was built on reputation.

The new owner has been having family issues so I took over a consultation role with the company until he gets his personal issues sorted out, the transfer of the site and ownership is complete, he's just got a lot going on right now and I do not want to place his name on the site just in case....

I managed to track the emails back to a member here...they stated they would remove EscrowDNS from the emails that are being sent.

So why did they use a fake name?

Thanks Justin.

Also got one of those emails - I had similar ones in the past, but I remembered that EscrowDNS was a product of Justin so it rang a bell.

Thanks to all for sharing their collective experiences - it's scary that these campaigns still go on ; they obviously still work.

Rob
