.eu will crush .us within a year of launch. .org is gonna be beat pretty fast as well. I think its gonna be a tight race with .net, as for .com for now the king still lives.

for sure .com .net .org will be hard to beat, for sure.
But see it please from the side of the european users.
1. germans have the strongest ccTLDs, so they will grab their .eu domain too.
2. france is willing to reg an identity as a domain, .fr is restricted, not able to reg domains for privats. And .com do not gives them an identity, it is a gTLD for everyone!
3. all eastern europe countries want to show that they are european.

It will become big, we will have a new big player! Forget which TLD will be beaten, just do not forget to reg the names that you need!

I hear this first time, will investigate into the rules. but you can renew without problems! All limitations are made to find a "work around".
