**NOTE: I own the domain but my name is not shown in the whois yet.. CIRA are slow as hell to update it and we can wait until my name is shown before proceeding.

Hi Reese, one of the parties has likely not completed the required confirmation. If a registrant change was performed, both sides have to confirm for it to be reflected in the whois. Have both sides from the previous transaction actually logged into CIRA to do this? Once that's done, the whois should show the new info almost right away.

Know that when buying a dot ca. The seller needs to follow up after the transfer to accept the domain ownership as well as the transfer.

This happened on the first .ca I ever bought. The other party was non-existent after the sale, and 6 months later cira fixed me up. Turns out the other party didnt have Canadian Presence to top it off.
