Hello,

I currently own the name Filez.com. I have had it for over a year now. In its heyday in 1998 the name was owned by Michael Robertson the Chairman of Lindows (Windows competitor now known as Linspire) and the guy who sold MP3.com for $350 Million to Vivendi. He had it setup as a search engine for files with 75 Million files to search for. At the time it was one of the most visted sites on the internet. You can take a look here:

They did such a good job of marketing this name that until today it still receives over 4,000 views a day. Since I have owned it though I have made some major mistakes with it. Number one was I leased it out to someone (I couldnt resist it was for a nice amount) for 3 months and they ended up delisting the name from google. Google had it ranked so well and it had thousands and thousands of links I believe over 100,000 at one point. Second thing was not as bad I ended up partnering with a guy who had a scripts download site for about 9 months. At the end though he defrauded me for a few thousand dollars I gave him to do another job for me and at the same time the site he setup for Filez.com was for scripts to be listed but he ended up putting all the listings to his own sites and it took me a while to find out. He ended up screwing himself because we could have had something great over a period of time with the site. Basically, what I am looking for is for someone who has done this before and can set up something nice for Filez.com and also work on getting it back on google. This will come once the site is redesigned well. If those two things can be done the site will be very successful. Not as simple as it sounds but it can be done. This site has a lot of potential so please get back to me with offers.
