What do you think about film name domains? I don't think they can be copyrighted. I see them listed on auctions and they appear to have good exact matches/CPC but they may be the name of film that showed a year ago. If the interest is still there but is now off the peak then are they worth getting?

Thanks

Some cult following may still exist, so, try it, but don't invest too much in them.

It can be risky. Yes, they can be trademarked as titles. I've only done that feat once, many years ago. The payout was low four figures for a film that wasn't great either :p

You mean you sold it to a 3rd party? Or parked it?

I sold it to the movie studio that produced the movie.
