forum hostility... hot or not ?

old schoolers who have been involved with domains for 4,5,6+ yrs minimum.... question for you:


lots of personal attacks and hostility around the forums by newbies especially lately that i am seeing... trying size up and measure up to big dogs?? :lol:

new trend?? the new cool thing????

have u noticed it too, it's been around on the adult forums forever, but lately i'm seeing this on domain forums and seo/sem as well

people are losing money in this tough times.... taking aggression out in all the wrong places

have u spotted this ?

I think the biggest issue is that new domainers seem to think they know everything there is to know and when some of the more experience members try to give them advise they don't take it with a grain of salt and learn from it. They take it as an attack.

Which usually means they won't be to successful.

I been yelled at by a couple senior members lol cause I wasn't listing but after going back and reading their pms I notice they were right.

i think a lot of the new comers are confused and when they hear something that doesn't necessarily makes sense right away they immediately dismiss it and get mad / jealous if it does sound interesting but not soemthing they are capable of pulling off

this is not the place to get pissed off at first of all...it is a place where some of the brighest and most influential domainers once got their start...u two can... it is a place to take away bits and peices from, digest it on your own, do the proper research on your own and see with your own two eyes once you put the advice / tips you receive to the test whether it was good advice or not and whether practical at all
