I came across a site a while back that offered free open source ssl certificates, I was looking for the site again recently to get one, I just downloaded mine, I thought i would give all DNF members the chance to get there own free one instead of paying an evil company

You can get free ones lots of places, including your host, the problem is, the root is not recognized by browsers so you get the security pop-up. Yes, this goes away when you install the cert in your browser, but any first-time visitors to your site, or those that don't click install will get the annoying pop-up. It's better to buy a geotrust or similar cert.

The link i gave offers open source certs to everyone.

Yeah thats the problem with the popup message, But seems fine if you cant afford to buy an ssl cert, My host provided one to me for free meaning i have no use for the link but thought some people here may want one
