I owned the name freejena6,com for 3 days and dropped it.
I earned a little over .30 per day with 10-16 uniques
each day. I had it set up with charity websites
with active audience and I also customized the
heading with a support message for the 6 teens.

* today I peeked at the name and I'm appalled
with what the new owner is doing with the name.
There's porn stuff and Kim Kardashian smut matter.

Why did I drop?

Btw, I still own FreeJenna6.com with I brought the same
day, but eventually forgot to park it. I cant help but wonder
how much traffic FreeJena6.com receives now:uhoh:

I think there is only one in jail currently, but all are to be sentenced soon.

BTW, the name is just parked, the owner did not assign those ads.

Nope. If I had marched, perhaps I would have taken some. I was in a place and time in history already -- enjoying quality time with my son which is far more important than bail for a 4-time offender.

It's all good to spend time with your son, I have two sons.
However it's important that we not undermine the significance
of the situation. Sure he is a four time offender, but it's the actions
that led up to the incarceration which is what the whole melee
stems from.

I dont agree with the actions of the 6 defendants. Nor do I agree with nooses!
I guess I'm neutral on the matter.

Just out of curiosity did the guy who got beat up have anything to do with the nooses, I do agree attempted murder is to stiff a penalty.

No, he had nothing to do with the nooses which occurred 3 months prior to the beating. As the US Attorney (a black man) for Western Louisiana stated after their own investigation, there is no link between the two incidents and no evidence could be found.

The whole thing with the nooses is a load of crap. What was being said was about the nooses was the fact that the three white boys who put them out three months ago were expelled by the principal but reinstated by the school board superintendent. Then this beating of 6 blacks on 1 white happens and the charges are filed.

The key difference? The protest leaders believe the blacks had unfair punishment and erroroneously compared it to the 3-month earlier incident of three white boys. However, the actions of the black youths were physical and harmful whereas the other incident was non-violent but assumed to be a "hate-crime" activity. In addition, no one saw the nooses because one of the school staff saw them hanging and removed them before any students came to school.

Some blame the all-white jury at Bell's trial. Unfortunately, all the blacks who were called declined to show up for jury duty.

But we have to remember, the truth is irrelevant to the protesters. Despite the published truth, the plan to march was in motion and could not be turned back by the leadership without losing face. So the march continued although the after effect shows that Bell is still in jail despite an extra hearing and the hoopla surrounding it all.

Last, the slogan chanted, "Free the Jena Six" was in error. Only one was in jail because of his past offenses. The rest are out on bail still awaiting their trials.

In short, many of the marchers in Jena commented, "I'm not sure why we are here anymore....We were asked to march for equality but we aren't sure there was anything wrong in the first place....still it was good to see everyone mobilize and demonstrate solidarity in case we need it in the future...."
