FreeQuotes.com sold for $210,000 in a private sale earlier this year. The offer came through a Network Solutions Certified Offer and netted about 10% in brokering fees.

As I said earlier, end-user sales drive the economy pretty nicely during the first quarter of 2009. It's a nice generic. Free quotes about anything you can imagine of.

In fact, it has already begun, somewhat covertly, with some major sales already making it into the press. While still others are quiet buyouts of specific domains and/or complete portfolios.

Domainers ... a new breed?
