I purchase a name as it could be typo of a website im launching in the near future, the name cost me $400 for the .com.

Then i thought i would check the .net and have a guess what it got registered the same day the transfer completed. LOL

Heres the registrant anybody know who they are ? Did they buy to develop or just hoping the .com gets developed and they can cash in on any .net traffic ?

They will be hoping for a long time as i will not be developing the domain in question LOL

i think lot of people do that. some even try to register typos of the .com version once they find out that the .com was sold for a large amount.

I had a similar situation happen to me about a year and a half ago...

I put up a very amateur looking construction page and when the time came, they let the .net version of my .com drop! Picked up the .net and developed.
