I just picked this one up. I had registered geekboards.com a while back, but the singular was taken at the time. I'm glad they let it expire, I really wanted this name. :D

Thanks for the input. I've got this idea of doing it as a "Scoop" site. Scoop is the CMS engine that http://www.kuro5hin.org uses. I'd like it to be a Slashdot type site, but I think Slashdot with the Scoop interface would be really cool.
