Getting my first vBulletin owned license!

I am in the process of getting my own Owned vB license, very excited, bought it used from Webhostingtalk.com for $110 , didnt seem like a bad deal, any one else have a different opinion? Now i just need to save the $30 to gain access to members are. :wink: Will be fun! can think of so much to do with the license already! Sorry if i sound like a litte kid in a candy store, but...hehe.

Wait till vB3.5, you'll love it.. uses AJAX so you can edit thread titles and such in real-time.

well, all i have to do is renew membership, the upgrades will come whether i renew the membership now or later, and isnt vb 3.5 already in beta?

I would definitely buy a Vbulletin in the future, or probably build my own custom forum.

I use vbulletin on all my "big forums". Its because its very easy to navigate and install.
Phpbb is difficult for some new users to log on and so.

i get bored messing with phpbb in the control panel.. soooo dry.

you're going to love vB. I have a leased at the moment, but thats because I wasn't playing on doing something for very long, but I got the idea and im going to keep it going for a long time.. so ill be upgrading pretty soon.

Good for you. But why would you spend $140 on a second hand license instead of getting a new one directly from vB for just $20 more?
