GoDaddy: what is : "Add Domain Protection" ?

hi, I see now for the first time an option that maybe I just did not notice before.....it`s in my domain management section and it says:

"Add Domain Protection"

what is it? is it free?

thank you, I think this a great idea from GoDaddy, for premium names , people would find that useful I think....basically they pay the reg fee for you if you forget to do so for 1 year.
