I think you will do good with an HTC or Samsung.

Hopefully but they said it would be out this spring or early summer by now too. But i am holding out as well for the 5.

Really? I haven't read anything like that in the reviews. Are you sure you're talking about the new Galaxy S II or do you mean the older Samsung Galaxy S?

Yes, the new Galaxy S. Loved the phone but the battery life was really poor.

The new one is called Galaxy S II. I don't think it's out in stores yet. At least not in Norway. Galaxy S is ancient.

It is so hard for me to give up the Nexus One and doubtful I will anytime soon. The clarity, upgrades, freebies (including FREE hotspot/WiFi Tethering) makes this a superb phone. Most charge as much as $40 a month to have a WiFi Hotspot - an Android benefit initially designed to be FREE but the marketers found a fortune to be made in charging for an added surface. You have no idea (actually, you do) how great it is to be able to take my iPad anywhere and not have to worry about internet access.

That's what I'm waiting for. From what I've read it's going to be a big upgrade - plus ~8mp camera.

I am not really a fan of smart phones - My wife got something in Droid line.

One of my nephew who works for a competitor of iPhone told me they saw the leaked iPhone 5 designs. (they may have paid some to get the designs)

He could not believe how good iPhone 5 - He asked me to wait for it.
