Google fast indexing

I submitted a url to Google last night that I just registered yesterday and built a webpage for, and it already shows up in Google results today.

On top of that, a post I did in DNForum about 15 minutes ago with a domain name in it (a different one) already shows up in Google when I search for that domain.

I didn't know they indexed that quickly!

The post in this forum shows up quickly in Google because Google sees sites like these as authority type sites, has been around for years, lots of good links in, fresh content, etc.

As far as your new site you submitted, there's indexed and then there's ranking. Google might have indexed it already, which looks like they got it pretty quickly. But ranking is another animal, of course it depends on the usual factors, competition, links in etc.

Yes, I'm sure ranking isn't great but it's the fact that it shows up and is indexed in less than 24 hours.

Posts and sites listed get indexed in 15 minutes usually.
